On-Line Brochure : Developing Community Links

In addition to the home visits staff have also been involved in community development work. Forums and local community groups are important avenues for initiating change and improvement to the environment in which children are raised. As such project staff have taken up opportunities to participate in these groups which operate in areas where many of the staff themselves live.

The Official Launch

The Official Launch of the Project by two local children in September of last year was a great success. The occasion also provided an opportunity for families in the area to visit the Project and the children's party which was held in the afternoon was attended by approximately 250 families.
